Newt Gingrich warns of third party in 2012

Newt Gingrich warned Republicans today that they may have a mutiny in 2012. I bet he’s right. The only thing he is wrong about is that it won’t be restricted to Republicans, Democrats have just as many issues! Find me an American that thinks it is OK to have an 11 trillion dollar national debt. Even the popularity of President Obama isn’t going to appease the growing number of disatisfied Americans. Now, which third party is going to make it mainstream? How about the one that believes in mainstream American values? Modern Whigs, the time is now! Spread the word and donate if you can afford it. If you can’t, volunteer to do some groundwork!
I wonder if Mr. Gingrich would endorse the Modern Whig Party or even consider running as a MWP candidate? The historian in him has to appreciate the party’s roots. Plus, even though he’s had a right-wing agenda in the past, in today’s hyper-partisan climate, he makes relatively reasonable, centrist arguments.
